This week we unveiled a new look for the blog complete with an official Mumpus and Grumpus logo, which has a special meaning:
- The first part of the logo is a red panda. We chose this because, like the red panda, Mumpus is cute, has red hair and is known to lash out when threatened. It is also from China, which reminds us of how we met. And it is Allie's spirit animal.
- The second half of the logo is a seagull. The rationale is that my last name is Siegel and we are fast becoming junior ornithologists.
In conclusion, (spirit animal from China) + (a bird) = Mumpus & Grumpus
